The accessible room we stayed in was spacious and had a walk-in shower. We were in town for a concert at the Theatre, and parking behind the hotel was £15 for 24 hours. We arrived around 11am and were told there'd be a £15 early check-in fee if the room was ready. We declined and came back at 3pm. The bar and food weren't available until 5pm, so we had to go elsewhere to eat. We found a Weatherspoons a few hundred yards away, serving breakfast, lunch and drinks at superb prices. After the concert, we went up to the hotel bar, but there were only a few tables near it, with the rest of the space set up for the restaurant. Draft options were limited to Carling, Coors and Strongbow. There were bottled beers, ciders and lagers in the fridge, but they cost much more. With such poor food and drink availability before 5pm, I'd only come back for an overnight stay, no longer.

The rooms were great and had all the usual essentials, and the bar was clean and tidy with drinks at good prices. The reception team and barman were friendly and helpful, and really made our night. The location worked brilliantly for what we needed. Based on the staff alone, I'd recommend staying here for business or a quick visit.

We were really impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff were during our two-night stay for the kids' swim meet. A big group of us needed breakfast at 7 on Sunday and had to leave by 7:15, on the day the clocks went forward. The team had all the food ready for the swimmers, which we hugely appreciated. Special thanks to Mason, Jamie and Jade, and to everyone else working that morning. I didn't catch all their names, but they were brilliant.

Breakfast was great and cooked to order, but the meal deal isn't worth bothering with. The menu is limited, and I was the only person in the restaurant all evening. There are plenty of other places to eat nearby. It's a central hotel.

Premier Inn's are predictable, which suited this flying visit. I paid £5 for 24 hours at St David's carpark, then walked four minutes to the hotel. Check-in took about two minutes, and the bloke at reception was nice. The room was modern and lovely, much too big just for me. The bathroom, though, had that moldy, pee-like smell I seem to find in every Premier Inn I stay in. My room was at the end of what felt like a never-ending corridor, probably not ideal if you're unfit. I reckon I did 2k steps getting there. I was only in the hotel for half an hour before heading to a concert, then came back for five hours' sleep and got back on the road to Cornwall. The city-centre spot has all the fast food you could want, but I just got a meal deal at the big Tesco superstore five minutes up the road, opposite the Swansea arena. Only Coors and Carling on tap, so beggars can't be choosers. All in, 10/10. The hotel was £38, happy days!
