Last Sunday I stayed alone at the Swindon location close to the M4, and the welcome from the evening staff was heartwarming. I recognised the blonde-haired woman, though I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name, and Laura on morning duty was good at her work too. Thank you, ladies, the reception and the feeling you gave me matter a lot. I was grateful to get back to my usual hotel choice after mistakenly going to a nearby Travelodge, where I had a very unpleasant surprise with freeloaders from afar. I know what to expect at Premier Inn, and that comforting consistency made me glad I’d arrived. My wife and I choose Premier Inns because the rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are comfy, and the helpful staff are pleasant and sincere. We’ve met really nice staff each time, which is why we keep staying there. The breakfast in the morning didn’t disappoint. It’s one of the best around and worth the cost. If I had one gripe, the bacon is cut very thinly. Please don’t penny-pinch, because customers know the standards you serve, and lowering them could put you on a slippery slope. Thanks again to all the staff for making my stay a good one.

We heard no motorway noise, even though this place is very close to it. It’s just off M4 junction 16 and easy to find. The welcome was friendly and efficient, and the room was as expected and up to Premier Inn standards. There’s a Beefeater next door on the same site, as well as Subway and Costa. The welcome stayed just as warm as the staff teams changed over. Thank you, Swindon West.

I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn several times and would probably come again, though I’m looking at alternatives. On my last two visits I had an accessible room, number 5. There were no glasses, one towel was ripped, and the mattress needed replacing.

Greggs across the road is handy for a quick breakfast on the go. We’ve stayed before and it’s still been good: clean rooms, a friendly team, and easy access and parking, which are the main things for us.

Check-in was quick, and the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfy and the facilities were clean and tidy. It was easy to find and parking was straightforward too, just register your reg at reception. I’d definitely book again.
