Being so close to the airport was handy, but I barely slept. Noise carries between rooms, and the guest next door kept me awake all night.

Angela and Steve made us feel very welcome, even leaving a bottle of rosé with a sweet note in our lovely room. The location was great for starting our trip to Sofia. I left my car there for five days and followed their advice to use the associated taxi firm. It was punctual and half the price of an airport taxi. My wife and I would happily recommend staying here.

I wouldn't stay here again. Every time we used the sink, it leaked enough to leave the floor soaked. Black duct tape covering the pipes underneath made it look like this had been a problem for a while. We told the staff, but got no apology and nobody tried to fix it. The maintenance and concern for guest comfort were both very poor.

The owners were lovely and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, with Stanstead Airport very close by. Highly recommend!

We were in the area for a wedding, and this clean, comfortable place suited us well. It's out in the countryside in a lovely spot, yet only a short drive from the airport. I don't remember hearing the planes at all. The host was very friendly, and I'd recommend staying here if you need somewhere near the airport.
