I love Tarporley and the location was fantastic, but I was very disappointed by the room. I booked a deluxe king size room for £144, room only, and the description said there would be a separate seating area. The photos showed a nice little sitting spot by the window, away from the bed. In reality, there was only the king size bed and bedside tables, a rather rickety antique style clothes rail, and a small coffee machine area. The shower room was large and modern. I’d been looking forward to Sleep 55 after seeing the online pictures, but left feeling completely ripped off.

The walls between rooms are much too thin. We could hear every bit of what was going on sexually in the next room.

Mandy made us feel very welcome, and the rooms are lovely. The place is right on the hibb street with all the pubs, bars and restaurants. We’ve already decided to come back soon! ☺️
