Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was delicious. Jill and Ian were attentive throughout, and let me arrive after the usual check-in time even though that wasn't their policy. I'd driven down from Manchester and was late getting there. The guest house is lovely, restored and maintained with care and real attention to detail. I'd happily come back and recommend it. Thanks from a very tired business traveller.

We had a peaceful stay despite the busy main road, and our room had a lovely garden view. It was cosy and very nice, and the breakfast was generous as well as delicious. Ian and Jill made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. I'd recommend staying here for a short break or a longer one. Excellent.

A very welcoming place that feels like a home away from home, and great value for money. The rooms were quiet, very clean, and well furnished. Breakfast was so plentiful and well cooked that I didn't need lunch. I highly recommend the stay.

The owners are a lovely couple who really care about making you comfortable. The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bedding was changed every day. The rooms felt elegant and well appointed. I really enjoyed the traditional English breakfast, even though the portion was more than I could manage. It was delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay, I'll recommend the hotel.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the B&B is right in the centre. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I especially enjoyed the full English breakfast. I'd definitely recommend it.
