We’ve stayed here quite a few times, and it’s always such a happy, relaxing place. The cottage is comfortable, close enough to walk into town, and handy for some lovely walks by foot or a short drive away. Paul and Carla make you feel so welcome and are happy to help with anything. And the cooked breakfasts are delicious.

Breakfast by the river was lovely, and the hosts were warm and friendly. The room had plenty of space and a comfortable bed. It’s a sweet little riverside cottage, about a five minute walk from town. My only possible concern is parking if you have a campervan or anything bigger.

I especially enjoyed having the big lounge to watch cricket highlights in, and the conservatory was a lovely spot for reading the Sunday papers. Breakfast was excellent too. This small family run B&B is well cared for, with a clean, if fairly small, bedroom and good bathroom facilities. The owners were welcoming and shared useful information about both the property and the wider area. The twin room looking over the river was definitely nicer than mine, so ask for that one. 😂

We had a lovely traditional English breakfast in the veranda, looking out at the river. The stay was clean, welcoming, and everything felt just right. Highly recommended.

The host was brilliant, and breakfast was really excellent with a fabulous view of river Tavey. The location is on a roundabout, but town is an easy walk away and the main road routes are close. I’d have given five stars if the room had been a little bigger and there had been more parking, especially with builders working on the garage area.
