Cockhaven Arms

Cracking spot for a stay in beautiful Devon. The team were really friendly, the grub and beer were fantastic, and the room was lovely. Slept like a log, then had a top-notch breakfast. Luvvly jubbly 👌🏻

The meals were a real highlight. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the menu had plenty of good choices. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, happy to help with anything. We stayed for a couple of nights and the place had a lovely sense of family and community. Our room was very clean and well looked after, with chambermaids who always greeted us with a smile. The building is full of character too, especially the central staircase and hall, which seem steeped in history. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Room 7 turned out to be a brilliant find. I booked the cheapest place on hotels.com for three nights of work, and honestly wondered if the price was a mistake. It was one of the best pubs I've stayed in, especially for what I paid. The staff were so friendly, and the breakfast was so good that I couldn't manage dinner on the first two nights. I finally had dinner on the third and wished I'd made room for it earlier. Loved my stay this week, and I'll be back again and again ❤️

We had a Valentine's dinner at the Cockhaven last night. The prices were very reasonable, and every dish was cooked perfectly. My husband chose meat and I had fish, and the food was outstanding. Thank you.
