The house was roomy and comfortable, and its spot near the town and beaches was great. It was quiet too, and we enjoyed our three-night stay. A few practical details let it down, though. We’re all seniors and felt the autumn cold in the mornings and evenings, but the heating control was missing. There were hardly any spare blankets, we had to buy toilet roll, and the welcome consisted of three custard creams by the sink, if those count. The amenities were adequate, but the lack of attention to detail left us with the impression that the owners or agents didn’t really care. Parking is a nightmare. We still had a good time, but I hope this helps set expectations and inform the pricing. Don’t let it put you off, just be aware.
