We booked this for Valentine's Day 2025 and found the room absolutely beautiful. It was a wonderful romantic surprise for our little getaway. We didn't see anyone else during the stay, and handled both check-in and check-out by phone. Our room looked out at the Church.

The room was immaculate and seemed newly furnished when we spent the weekend there. It overlooks the iron bridge, which looks lovely lit up at night. Cafes and restaurants are just a stone's throw away. I recommend staying here.

The room was spotless and beautifully presented, with a good-sized en suite bathroom. There was plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, plus fresh milk, which was a nice touch. I slept well, and there was even a complimentary Pork Pie from the local historical shop. The place is right beside the iron bridge and well placed for the attractions. The only issue was the electric shower. It had plenty of space, clearly not squeezed in as an afterthought, but it was faulty and kept swinging between scorching hot and freezing cold. Without that, this would have been a five-star stay across the board. Highly recommended.

Everything was brilliant from start to finish, and the rooms were really modern. It was extremely hot in there, which might not bother most people, and putting the fan on sorted it out.

The Bridgeview room was fantastic. I wasn't too happy with the shower in the courtyard room.
