The beds were comfy, the atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly. We had a nice little breakfast hamper, though a cooked breakfast would have hit the spot. It was a bit noisy, with the pipes making a lot of sound and music from the bar coming through the floors.

We were welcomed on arrival by a staff member who showed us to our lovely, clean room. They'd left a hamper with breakfast items, as well as tea and coffee. This is a welcoming place to stay, full of character and charm. We didn't use the bar or restaurant, but it looked like a cosy country bar and seemed popular with people who weren't staying there. It's affordable without compromising on quality.

It's convenient for the M54, and there's parking for about 15 cars. The restaurant serves fantastic food. Another great stay at the Orleton, with Will and the rest of the staff making us feel like we were visiting family.

We all enjoyed our three courses on Easter Sunday. The food was incredible, hot and tasty, with great portions, and the friendly staff were attentive. Such good value, we'd definitely recommend it and will go again.

Jane welcomed us warmly to this charming inn in Wellington, Shropshire, and told us a bit about its history. It dates back to the 1600s. Our room was comfortable, with a picnic basket full of options for the continental breakfast in the morning. After one windy autumn night, I couldn't fault our stay. The beds were great, parking was free and the location was convenient. Can't wait to return!
