Even with the place fairly busy, everything came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. Our table was booked for 6 o’clock, and we were welcomed and seated straight away. There were good menu options for different tastes, and the polite, attentive waitress took our drink and food orders promptly. It had a happy atmosphere, busy but still comfortable, and we could talk easily. A really nice place. Thank you.

The staff were great and so accommodating, and the food was incredible. Three of our party had birthdays this week, and they treated us all to a glass of bubbly. Highly recommend. We’ll absolutely be back as soon as possible.

We had a lovely midweek lunch, with great service and very good prices. The people and ambience were lovely, and the food was superb value. There were also a few dishes on the menu that you don’t usually see, which made a nice change.

The staff were lovely, especially Jan, who served us so pleasantly and efficiently. My vegetarian nut roast was beautiful, the turkey was lovely and moist, and the vegetables were good quality and served piping hot. We’ve eaten here many times since The Sutherland opened, after years of going to the old Whitehouse, and every meal at The Sutherland has been outstanding. We had an excellent Boxing Day lunch today. Please pass on a big thank-you to the chef and kitchen staff for making our Christmas lovely. I’d definitely recommend it. Happy New Year to you all.
