I spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. The four-poster room was a good size, with a comfy bed, plenty of storage, tea and coffee, towels, WiFi, and a table and chairs. I had my own bathroom, which was clean and lovely, though the shower didn’t get hot enough. The TV was there, but the picture was scrambled, and I was told it would be fixed. Breakfast was nice, and the cleaners offered to come in between my two nights if I wanted. The garden looked as if it needed some attention, though it was only April. It’s close to Tenby, and a taxi cost me £3 in the day or £4 after 11pm.

Breakfast was plentiful and very nice, and the breakfast staff were attentive. The room was large and had a very nice bathroom, but the bedroom decor and furniture were dated and tired, and the TV was the smallest I’ve ever seen. There were no glasses in the room, not even plastic ones. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned, although I’d put the sign on the door in the morning. The gardens could be lovely, but need tidying, and the steps’ handrail needs DIY work. I thought it was a bit odd to be asked for the remaining room balance as soon as we arrived, before we’d even gone into the room. I usually pay at the end of my stay.

We slept really well, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom had been newly updated. We also had a good sea view and a great location. The decor is dated, but it’s a guest house, not a boutique hotel.

It was homely and nicely decorated, with the seafront less than a ten-minute walk away and the town nearby. The price was reasonable. There were a couple of small problems, though: rust on the radiator and residue on the shower screen seal. Also, we went out around 10am, an hour after breakfast had finished, and the breakfast dishes were still left out.

There’s free parking on site, and it’s about a ten-minute stroll into Tenby. The cooked breakfast was plentiful and good, and the room was very spacious with plenty of storage, though a little tired and with a small TV. We wondered at first whether we’d booked the right place, but were pleasantly surprised. Good location and excellent value for money. Nothing bad to say, except it could use an extra toilet roll. We’d recommend it and will return.
