Heywood Spa Hotel

The food was a real highlight, especially Sunday dinner. I had the fish of the day, and my husband said his roast lamb was the best meal he’d had all weekend. The restaurant dishes were so delicious we wanted more, and breakfast had a good range to choose from. We also enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and choice of spa treatments. We spent a wonderful birthday weekend here. The room was gorgeous and had its own balcony, thanks to a complimentary upgrade that the friendly receptionist told us about when she showed us to it. On our first evening, Sean brought out lemon cake with a candle after dinner, which made an already lovely night feel extra special. He was attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble. The receptionist was welcoming too.

We had a great time at the heywood. Sean was lovely to chat with, and the ladies at reception were lovely as well. The outside heated tub was brilliant fun at 45 degrees. We might have stayed in it longer if there’d been an umbrella over it. Good food, good value, and we’d definitely go back.

The food was delicious, and the chefs had clearly taken care with it. Everything was gorgeous, especially the curries. The spa is fairly basic, but it met what we needed: a chance to unwind and be looked after. There’s also a lovely lounge, and my wife really enjoyed her reflexology treatment. We had a wonderful two-night stay at Heywood Hotel Spa. Even though we were the only guests checked in, the staff looked after us so well and made the hotel feel like our own private place. Mandy & Carmen, the concierges, took care of everything we needed, and Illana was very attentive at meals. The rooms don’t have special features, but they’re comfortable and on the ground floor open onto the garden. I’d recommend it for the personal service, relaxed feel and good food. We’ll be back.

After a day exploring the beaches, the pool and treatments at the peaceful spa made for a relaxing way to unwind. The rooms are elegant and the service was exceptional, making the stay feel indulgent and memorable. Near the charming town of Tenby, Heywood Spa Hotel combines easy coastal access with a tranquil atmosphere. A lovely choice for a rejuvenating South Wales getaway.
