Diane is a wonderful host, and breakfast on Sunday was a feast with everything you could want. We also had a lovely conversation with her. The Annexe was modern, spotless, exceptionally well equipped, and felt even more like home than home. Having read the other reviews, we found them completely spot on. Her husband Charlie must be proud of what they’ve created. We’re very grateful to them both for making us feel so welcome, and would recommend staying here to anyone lucky enough to do so. Five stars don’t feel like enough, and other hotels could learn from Diane. We won a one-night stay for 15 June 2024 through the BMW Car Club UK and received a gift voucher. When we called Diane to arrange the details and told her our story, she was delighted for us and confirmed the stay. We’d spent the day at Thruxton in cold, changeable rain and very strong wind, so we asked whether we could arrive before check-in. Diane was accommodating and waiting at the front door when we arrived, greeting us like old friends. She’d also left us a lovely bottle of wine to congratulate us on winning the stay, a very thoughtful gesture.

Diane showed us around when we arrived, and the Annex is modern in style and immaculate inside. There was a pile of treats to enjoy after our long drive. We chose to stay in and relax, and ordered Diane’s sandwiches and toasties. They were beautifully presented and didn’t disappoint. Breakfast the next morning was just as good. A fabulous stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone. I’m a fussy retired chef, too.

Everything was modern, lovely and very well maintained, with exceptional service throughout. Diane welcomed my fiancée and me warmly and took time to show us around the Annexe so we could settle in. In the morning, breakfast was cooked perfectly, and she went out of her way to accommodate a food allergy. We’ll definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends. Thanks again, Diane, from Molly and me.

Diane was a fantastic host for our wedding weekend at the hawk Conservancy. She even let my wife’s parents come over so they could get ready with her that morning, and made us an amazing buffet breakfast. When we got back from the wedding, our room had rose petals, heart-shaped chocolates and a bottle of bubbles waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful way to spend our first night as a married couple. We had an amazing weekend, thank you so much. We’ll come back to visit!

Diane was a terrific host and made our long-weekend stay memorable. The breakfast was first class, and there were evening snacks and a packed lunch available if needed. The accommodation was faultlessly clean and very comfortable. It’s ideally placed for Thruxton race course, and there are plenty of other places to visit nearby. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Thank you from both of us.
