I ate at the White Hart twice, though I didn't stay there. Both times I chose the lamb chops, and they were great. The first serving had the chops on the bone with baby potatoes, while the second had boneless chops and a potato cake. Staff were friendly and helpful. A great place all round.

We were a group of four at The White Hart Inn, Stockbridge, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Two of us had roast and two had fish and chips, all generous portions, well cooked, and full of flavour. The service made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The Guinness 0.0 was poured perfectly, and the gin and tonics were crisp. We'd gladly return and recommend it.

We found this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat on the way back to South Wales after a very long day. It was full, but the staff made room for the three of us. They were attentive and polite, the setting was beautiful, and the food was exceptional. Such lovely food, staff, and atmosphere. I'd recommend the White Hart without hesitation, and you won't be disappointed.

We waited 30 minutes for our sandwiches, while a table that arrived after us got hot food about 15 minutes earlier with table service. It wasn't clear how to order, and there were no table numbers. The bread was dry and stale, one sandwich had very little filling, and the chips were barely warm. With two sparkling waters, the bill was £28. Overpriced, poor quality, slow service. We left most of one meal and wouldn't go back.

I stayed in the accessible room in the stable block just before the pub and rooms closed for renovations. It had quirky features and a super comfortable bed, though the shower seat frame was very rusty and the tile grout needed attention. The large wetroom had a lovely shower, but the room didn't feel as inviting as it could have. On Tuesday I heard people walking upstairs, and a dust cart emptied bins at 5.30. Earplugs helped the second night, and I slept well. The pub was warm and cosy, full of character, with a real fire, tasty food at fair prices, and the friendly Fuller’s welcome I expect. I'd stay at The White Hart again when visiting the area.
