The food at our birthday dinner in the Cat & Custard was such a treat. The beef was delicious, the vegetables cooked just right, and the dessert was something else. From the moment we arrived, the man greeting us was cheerful and welcoming, and the service stayed friendly. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. We loved the evening and will definitely come back for another meal. Thanks for making it special.

We chose the soufflé, goat and beet salad, fish and chips, and steak and ale pie, and every dish was delicious and nicely presented. Cat and custard pot is a fabulous place to eat in Tetbury. The service was friendly and perfect, and Lyn was fabulous. Thanks for the hospitality.

Lynn was such a delight and made our lunch memorable. The cheese soufflé and fish and chips were both delicious. We had an amazing lunch!

We only ate there, and it was a lovely experience. The garlic dip is a must try, one of the best I've had in a long time. Our calzone, Margherita pizza, and butternut salad were all tasty, well made, and nicely served. The food alone makes it worth a visit.

I didn't stay at the hotel, just stopped in for Sunday lunch, and I'd happily return if I'm in the area. The staff were super friendly, orders came quickly, and it's a lovely classic pub. The roast beef was tender, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Its Yorkshire pudding was big without being greasy, and the roast potatoes were crisp outside and fluffy inside. The vegetables were good, and the cauliflower cheese was so tasty. I was already full, so couldn't fit in dessert. Before that, I had leek and potato soup, the soup of the day. It was simple but packed with flavour, and the delicious homemade bread went well with it. After the soup I wondered how good the roast could be, and I wasn't disappointed. Five stars all round.
