Rose Cottage

Rebecca's hospitality was sensational, well beyond what we expected. While we sat on the comfortable garden swing, she brought us wine and crisps. The cottage looked just like the pictures, with an extremely comfortable bed and a brilliant bathroom.

The place is beautiful and every detail has been thought through, from toiletries in case we'd forgotten anything to a glass of wine on arrival so we could relax in the garden. Rebecca was a fantastic hostess, made us feel so welcome in her home, and couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to stay again.

Breakfast is pre-ordered, so you know what you'll get in the morning and can choose the time. Rebecca was lovely and made us feel welcome, even though we arrived quite late. The room had everything you could need, including plenty of different toiletries so there was no need to worry about forgetting anything. We were staying for a wedding nearby and will definitely come back to enjoy the area properly next time.

Rose Cottage makes it easy to choose between self-catering and bed and breakfast, and breakfast was delicious and good value. I woke to a very peaceful setting, opened the window, and listened to birds and the hens in the garden. The welcome was warm, the accommodation excellent, and the bed wonderfully comfortable. I haven't woken somewhere this tranquil in a long time.
