The optional breakfast is worth having, especially for the lovely locally sourced sausages. The hosts own the hotel and were friendly and helpful. Our clean double room had a nice ensuite, and the town centre was only a very short walk away. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The breakfast was amazing, with locally sourced meat and fresh produce. Our rooms were clean and stylish, a little small but cosy and fresh. When we arrived, the owner helped with our bags and suggested places to visit nearby. Emails and phone calls beforehand were informative and helpful too. It was £80 odd pounds for the night, which felt like good value, though we all like a bargain or discount when we can get one ;) I'd stay at this bed and breakfast again. Peter and Rola were so welcoming, polite, and accommodating to what I needed. It's a local family business, and they are two very special hosts. I stayed two nights, in a double room and a single room. Both were clean and tidy, with ensuites, I guess all the rooms have them. I was comfortable throughout and would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting or passing through Thetford. The food looks great and tastes even better. Thank you, Peter and Rola. Peter and Roela looked after my car while I was away hiking. They gave me a very friendly welcome, and the owners are great. The location is excellent, the food is the best for both quality and quantity, and the packed lunch was first class. The best in Norfolk.
