We were a group of 10 in for lunch and waited over an hour for the food. The gammon was paper-thin, both pies had soggy pastry as if they'd been microwaved, and the mac and cheese dishes seemed to be packaged microwave meals. The rare T-bone steak we ordered arrived well done. That was the only thing this place did well, LOL. Two customers outside had also told us we shouldn't eat here. The manager's attitude was disgusting. Do not visit!

Jan 2026 The food was delicious when we had dinner here. The gammon was cooked just right, the ribs came away from the bone, and the homemade old-school chips were beautifully done. A friendly woman at the bar brought our drinks, and our waitress was lovely and looked after everything we needed, especially the extra mayonnaise. Thank you.

We were staying nearby and dropped in for a drink. The woman serving was kind, and we had a pleasant chat. The toilets were clean, tidy and working properly when I used them. Our little girl really enjoyed the park, and the setting and views are lovely x

I can't speak to the hotel since I've never stayed there, but the Sunday carverys are delicious 😋. We often make the trip down from Prestatyn just to have one, and the staff have always been lovely and friendly.

It's a bit dated, sure. I nodded off on the toilet and woke up thinking I was at my nanna Caths in 1991. Sadly, I wasn't. Still, for the price, it's not bad. Nothing wrong with it.
