For £14 each, this was a great value Sunday dinner. We had beef and belly pork, both cooked just right. The beef was nicely pink, and the pork had the best crackling. The vegetables and gravy had plenty of extra flavour too. I’d definitely recommend coming for dinner.

The roast lamb and all the usual trimmings were really tasty, and I’d recommend them. Sunday lunches have only recently started up again at our local. The Blue Bell also offers bed and breakfast. I haven’t stayed there myself, but other customers have enjoyed it, and the place has a warm, welcoming feel.

We went for Sunday lunch with the family and had a great meal. There was a choice of roast beef, lamb or pork, and the meat was cooked perfectly. Generous portions, too.

We popped in on a whim and were very glad we did. The roast lamb came with great roast potatoes, a good variety of veg, lovely red cabbage, cauliflower cheese and a nice Yorkshire pudding. The Timothy Taylor bitter was very good as well. We were too full for dessert, though we would have tried the sticky toffee pudding. 10/10.

The host was so welcoming and helpful when I needed a room at short notice. It was a lovely quaint little room, too. Highly recommended!
