There are plenty of supermarkets within a ten-minute drive, which worked well for our self-catering stay. My daughter and I had a lovely week here last November. It's ideally placed for visiting most places of interest, and we can't wait to come back for another week exploring Yorkshire.

The area is beautiful and quiet, and the North York Moors and railway are very convenient from here. Our hosts were welcoming, the room was great and spotless, and breakfast was truly great.

The hosts were very helpful, and the place was clean and nicely presented. There was plenty of parking and even a log fire ready for us to light. A fantastic place to stay, and I'll be back.

The people were so friendly, and the quality was top-notch. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in.
