Linden Tree Holiday Apartments

The rooms felt cosy and were nicely decorated, with warmth and WiFi that worked well. Everything was spotless. We came to Thirsk for two nights and found the location handy for getting around: the station is about a five-minute walk, and we used it for a day in York. Thirsk centre, with its shops and places to eat, is only a short drive away. We also walked to the Vale of York pub for dinner, less than five minutes away. We were met with a lovely warm welcome, and the accommodation and hosts made this a stay we'd happily recommend. Thanks, and we hope to come back.

The good-sized kitchen and comfortable bed made the apartment feel like a home from home, and it was lovely and clean. My partner and I stayed four nights and chose the bed and breakfast option. Darren cooked excellent breakfasts, and Andrea served them. They were both great hosts. There are local pubs with good food, and the nearby railway station made our trip to York convenient. We really enjoyed ourselves and will return.

Everything was there for self-catering, and breakfast is also available since the hosts run a B&B. The accommodation was excellent, with a comfortable bed, and the hosts were lovely. It's near the racecourse and Thirsk station, with a good Tesco and Aldi not far away. Thirsk is about a 40-minute walk. I'd stay again.

We spent a brilliant week at Linden Tree, using it as a base for exploring Yorkshire. The clean, comfortable apartment/chalet suited us well, with a small kitchen that had what we needed, good internet and two TVs. Andrea and Darren were friendly and helpful. We made our own breakfast, though I hear Andrea's is excellent. The location worked well for the Yorkshire Moors and Dales, Ripon, Thirsk and elsewhere. Highly recommend it.
