Breakfast was the one real letdown. The restaurant was packed and the chef was on her own, working flat out, so some items took over 40 minutes to be replenished. It was obvious she was doing everything she could, but another pair of hands would have helped. Parking in the multi-storey beside the hotel was extortionately priced, too. It isn’t run by Premier Inn, but that still made for a rough start. We stayed three nights and had a lovely visit overall. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we all slept well, though the family room was a bit of a squeeze. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met at a Premier Inn, and we’ve never had a bad experience with their staff elsewhere either. Ness was especially lovely at breakfast and made us feel welcome. Despite the parking and breakfast issues, we’d happily return. The hardworking, kind staff made a big difference.

A lovely start to the day at Premier Inn Tiverton. Ash cooked a delicious breakfast just right, and Vanessa G was such a warm hostess, keeping things running smoothly. Friendly service, great food, and I’d happily recommend it.

We stopped here to split up our drive to Cornwall and found it a really nice place. The bright, clean room and warm welcome from the staff made for a lovely stay. Everyone we met was friendly and engaged with us, from the breakfast cook and waitresses to the receptionist. The canal and historic town are only a few minutes’ walk away, with lots to do locally. Many thanks ☺️

The staff are always polite and helpful, but the parking costs the hotel stars for me. There’s no hotel parking, just an exorbitantly priced multi-storey next door run by someone else, or a few spaces in two small nearby car parks that fill early. Otherwise, it’s a bog-standard Premier Inn.

On our second visit to Premier Inn Tiverton to see family, we had a very comfortable stay in a family room, and all the staff were fantastic. It’s a great base for exploring Tiverton and nearby places. Saturday breakfast during half term was manic, and I’ve never seen a Premier Inn restaurant so busy. Vanessa G, Luis and Donna, the cook, did an amazing job keeping up while still smiling and being friendly. They were brilliant.
