Angel Guest House

We came down from Scotland for my nephew's wedding and felt right at home at the Angel guest house tiverton. Chris and sue were lovely hosts, and we had plenty of laughs. Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the delicious homemade sausages and jam. A big thank you to them both. We'd happily come back, and I'd recommend giving it a try if you're booking in tiverton.

We only needed a bed for the night, and it was really comfortable. Chris welcomed us warmly, showed us where to park, and gave us helpful advice. Breakfast was a fantastic full English, with delicious sausages and poached eggs that were out of this world. We'd definitely stay again. Thank you.

We were passing through on a road trip from Oxfordshire and chose Angel partly because we remembered it from 4 in bed. The hosts were friendly, and they even let us leave the car after checkout while we visited tiverton. There isn't much parking, so message ahead; it costs only a few pounds for the night. The only room left during half term was the spacious family room on the second floor, with a big double bed and bunks, though it felt dated. Tea and coffee were provided, along with a fridge stocked with Yorkshire tea. The shower pressure was good. We filled in a form for breakfast, and once we sat down in the morning, tea and toast arrived. The full English was lovely, though I would've liked a little more. We also enjoyed chatting with the other guests. tiverton was a lovely town, bigger than I remembered, and I'd stay again.

The breakfast was one of the nicest full English meals we've had, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. We were also impressed by the room, especially its four poster bed and big en suite shower. Chris, the owner, was welcoming and really friendly, with excellent service throughout. We picked Angel for an overnight work trip after seeing its good reviews and its appearance on 4 In a Bed. We'd happily recommend it.
