I slept better here than I have in ages. It gets so quiet at night you can almost hear an owl flap its wings. Valley House is a roomy country home and a lovely place to spend time with friends and family, or use as a base for exploring Devon’s greenery. I’d book again for Sophie's brownies alone.

We had a brilliant family stay in March-April 2024. The garden was gorgeous, and there’s a lovely canal walk just behind the house. Our rooms were great and nicely cleaned, and there were some good places to eat nearby. We’d stay again 👍.

A lovely spot right in the middle of Devon, with the house right beside the canal. It’s a really nice home and has everything the whole family needs for self-catering.
