Traveling with our dog was completely stress-free here. Our pup had bowls for food and water, a towel, and even a jar of treats waiting in the room. The owners were warm and welcoming, and took time to chat and share useful local advice about nearby trails, what was open in the off season and what we could reach from town. Our room faced Tomintoul's main street, yet it was incredibly quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, especially the hollandaise. We had such a wonderful stay at the Argyle Guest House. It's a relaxing place in the Cairngorms, with or without a dog, and we'll definitely return.

Dianne and Steven went out of their way to make our visit special. Our family of six stayed at Argyle during a quiet spell after Christmas, and they made us feel thoroughly welcome. The rooms were homely, and breakfast was fantastic. We used the property as a base for visiting the Speyside distilleries. A wonderful stay, and we'd recommend it to any kind of traveller.

We stayed two nights and would give this b&b a 10 if we could. Dianne was welcoming and knew the area well. Both the egg royale and the traditionally made porridge were perfect. The room was very comfortable, and even came with locally brewed whisky. Everything was a short stroll away, or just a few gusts away during storm Amy!!! I'd happily recommend Argyle Guest house.

The road noise was barely noticeable, and the village is small and picturesque, right in the heart of the highlands. The rooms felt luxurious, the owner was very polite and informative, and breakfast was great, especially the homemade bread. You can order what you want, even in advance. Thank you, Dianne!!!

Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The lovely hosts and tasty breakfast made an already good stay even better. I'd recommend staying here again.
