The course was in great shape, with greenkeepers busy working, and it’s a good test of golf. We loved the coastal and sea views from every hole. My sister and I played yesterday and got a warm welcome at the modest clubhouse. Sometimes we had to ask which way to the next tee, but staff and members were friendly and helpful, and the card map came in handy. There’s an interesting drive over the “main” road from the second tee. Our highlight was both driving the green on the long downhill par 3 18th. Rain threatened a few times, but the weather was kind and we stayed dry.

The course setting and views are stunning, and the fairways and greens were amazing. I’ve played here twice, in September 2023 and again in November 2024. Both times the clubhouse hospitality and course condition blew me away. It feels like playing at a really expensive resort. Highly recommended.

This is one of the most dramatic courses I’ve played. Holes 3 and 6 would be hard to beat anywhere in the world. I played a few weeks ago and the course was in fantastic condition for that time of year. Looking forward to coming back every year!

The bacon and egg roll was the best possible start to the day, and it’d be hard to find a better one. The service came with a smile too. Then there’s a lovely golf course, with the best greens for the time of year and the weather we’ve had. I’ll definitely be back as soon as I can!

Some great holes are along the cliff top on the front 9, with stunning views. The back 9 heads a little inland, which I appreciated because I was running low on balls after the stiff breeze and those cliffs! The course is varied, and you need good approaches to score well, as many greens are small and oddly square. The clubhouse is small and easy to miss because the satnav postcode takes you past the gate. Definitely worth a visit, but take spare balls and a camera.
