After a very late arrival because of traffic, the woman who runs the hotel was helpful on the phone and arranged a way for us to get in. The building is beautiful, and the rooms are lovely, especially the gorgeous, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was cooked to order and really nice. She was very pleasant and helpful. It’s a short walk to the beach, in a quiet spot, and sitting on the balcony listening to the seagulls was a lovely way to relax. Perfect.

We stayed three nights in a clean, spacious suite with a separate room where we could relax. The service was fabulous and the location was good. I’d definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

At Ascot House Hotel, I found the atmosphere quiet and peaceful, and the owners’ care was clear throughout. Everything was spotless and well looked after, including the modern bathroom with its high-end finishes. My room had tasteful furnishings, soft lighting and calming colours, with an elegant but cosy feel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with crisp sheets and plush pillows, so I slept very well. I left feeling refreshed and well cared for. I’d happily return on another trip to Torquay and recommend the hotel to others visiting the area.

The calm atmosphere made Ascot House Hotel a lovely place to unwind after a day out. The hosts clearly take pride in the place, and their attention to detail showed in the immaculate room and sleek, functional bathroom with its premium touches. The decor and furnishings were stylish but inviting, with soothing colours that made the room feel restful. The bed was cosy, with quality sheets and fluffy pillows that made it hard to get up. I left relaxed and comfortable, and would gladly return or recommend it to anyone visiting Torquay.

The location made getting to most attractions easy on foot, which was really convenient. We had a wonderful family stay, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. They even offered us breakfast at no charge.
