There were thoughtful extras in the lodge, including fresh milk, fruit and snacks alongside the tea and coffee facilities. The main room and shower bathroom were attractive, and the place felt safe, warm, clean, quiet and cosy. We only stayed one night, but I’d happily return. I’m quite fussy, and it ticked all the boxes for me.

A well looked after course and a great day of golf ⛳. Just watch where you hit: balls can be hard to find in the rough or among the trees along the fairways, so accuracy helps. There are a few bits available in the small reception area if you need them. 🫡🫡

Maggie was lovely, and the cleaning staff I ran into in the courtyard were kind too. I stayed three nights while I was in the area. The clean rooms, comfortable beds and generous tea and coffee supply suited me well. Breakfast, in a little bag, was better than I expected. The Clubhouse also serves breakfast and sells chocolate, crisps and cold drinks. I’d definitely stay again.

We needed somewhere for a nearby wedding, and this worked perfectly. The room was very clean, and the breakfast to go was a thoughtful touch. Maggie at reception sent excellent check-in information. Many thanks, I’d thoroughly recommend it.

I’ve stayed three times this year, and each visit has been a delight. It’s a tranquil spot for a little escape, with spotless, comfortable rooms and welcoming, helpful staff. The bacon rolls are superb too. Thanks to everyone, Keith J.
