Lynn and her partner were so welcoming and kind, and even arranged an early check-in. They made us feel at home. Our breakfast was fresh with plenty of options, and the guest house was quiet. We loved the beautiful Gerbera room, the very comfortable bed, and the little touches, including fresh milk in the mini fridge. After a long walk, the deep bath was a real treat. There are plenty of bus stops nearby, and Torre station is close, which made getting around Torbay easy. The value for money was incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We only wish we’d had more time. If we’re in the area again, we’ll certainly return.

We’re already looking forward to another visit to Torquay and a return to Carlton Court. Lynn and Paul gave us a lovely, friendly welcome, and the rooms had thoughtful details and nice finishing touches that made the stay comfortable. Breakfast was so good that I’d definitely recommend adding it to your stay.

Carlton Court was a peaceful base for exploring Torquay and nearby places. The town centre and seafront are about a 15-minute walk away, and there’s private parking, a real bonus in the city. Lynn and Paul also shared directions and suggestions for local attractions and places to eat, which made our visit even better. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed, including makeup remover towels. Breakfast each morning was a gourmet treat, cooked to order with fresh, local ingredients. The elegant, cosy breakfast room even has an honesty bar made by Paul. It was easily the best breakfast of our road trip through the South of England. I’d highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway. Thank you, Lynn and Paul, for a stay we won’t forget!

On a quiet street, this lovely B&B is still only a few minutes’ walk from the sights, seafront, Torre Abbey, and more. The building was very clean and comfortable, and our room felt like a small suite, well equipped and fresh. Lynn and Paul were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had wonderful breakfasts too. I’d gladly recommend this place for a short or long stay in Torquay.
