For a solo stay, the single room at Cranborne had everything I needed: a decent bathroom, plenty of cupboard storage, a mini fridge and a kettle. I also really enjoyed the fresh, generous cooked breakfast each morning, with fruit, yoghurt and a choice of teas. Sharon and Amanda were lovely hosts, and I’d happily recommend staying here.

The breakfast alone is something to look forward to, freshly cooked and delicious, one of the best I’ve had in a guest house or hotel. Mandy, Sharon and Marley took great care of us from arrival to departure. It’s a great guest house, with spacious rooms in a good location. Looking forward to coming back.

Mandy and Sharon were wonderful hosts, and the room was great. We had three really enjoyable nights here, with fantastic breakfasts too. You’ll be happy you stayed.

The rooms were quiet, clean and tidy, with great amenities, and breakfast was freshly cooked and good quality. The owners were so kind and did everything they could for us. It’s just a short walk to the waterfront. We loved our stay at the Cranbourne and would absolutely come back.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed. Even the shower was lush. Breakfast had loads of options, and the full breakfast was so tasty, a great start to a long day. I think the cheese and mushroom omelette was the best I’ve ever had. The hosts were friendly, funny, welcoming and professional, and worked brilliantly together. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in Torquay, and we’ve been to plenty. Thanks, ladies, for such a lovely visit. We’ll see you again soon xx
