Dirk and Graham were such friendly, helpful hosts. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and we had a fantastic three-night holiday. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and having fresh milk in the room fridge each day was a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with extra treats and homemade marmalade and jam that could have been Mary Berry's. The immaculate hotel has parking on site, with free roadside parking if needed. It's also handy for Torre Abbey, the railway station and the beachfront. We'd happily return.

Sally made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast was excellent. Our large room was spotless, and the location was peaceful. There is off-street parking, or free parking on the road outside if the car park is full. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

John and Gill were great hosts and sorted out everything we needed, including vegan breakfasts for my partner. The place was clean, comfortable and generally quiet, and it was cheaper than similar accommodation. A couple of things weren't ideal for me: the power shower felt weak, and the WiFi was unreliable. I needed a decent connection for work, so that could be a problem if you do too. The decor is quirky, which I didn't mind, though it may not suit anyone wanting a modern look. I'd recommend it and would stay again.

Jill and John made my husband and me feel right at home during our five-day stay. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast, both the food and the choice, was just right. We even got to meet their little dog. The seafront is a six-minute walk away, and the train station is closer if you fancy a day in Paignton. A lovely little guest house, highly recommend 😇

John and Gill were wonderful hosts, and our room was large, lovely and as clean as Buckingham Palace. Breakfast was excellent, with quality ingredients. The location was great too. We had a lovely stay, and I'd recommend it to everyone.
