We stayed as a family of four for the air show, on the Friday night of the weekend it was on. The hosts welcomed us, gave us the information we needed and showed us to our rooms. Breakfast was nice, and we had a great sea-view room. The only downside was that the spare room bed for the kids was like a camping bed, with no mattress, so we used the blanket to make it a bit softer.

Breakfast had loads of choice and was really tasty, and our room was spotless. We had a wonderful six days at the Nethway. Julie and Gary were so friendly and accommodating, such a lovely couple. I’ll definitely be back next year. I’d highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t consider another hotel.

The shepherd’s pie was especially good, and all the food the chef prepared was excellent. We stayed here on holiday with Plimbleys, and this is one of the best coach hotels we’ve ever stopped at. The housekeeping and waiting staff were great, as were Gary and Julie. There’s nothing I’d change. We’d highly recommend the Nethway.

The food was good, and the waitresses were really lovely and helpful. Gary and Julie were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help us. We had a fabulous stay on 17 October and can’t wait to go back.

The room had a balcony with a view over the seafront and the swimming pool in the garden, and they upgraded us to the bridal suite for free. The bed was really comfortable, the hotel smelled lovely, and we even had our own kettle in the bathroom. I’d called a few days before our anniversary weekend to ask about decorating the room, but they couldn’t do that, which wasn’t a big deal. We’d come all the way from the East Midlands to Devon, and I’m glad we picked this hotel. The owners were very friendly, and I’ll definitely come back.
