The cottage was warm, clean and nicely decorated, and close to the beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. The owners made sure we had a lovely welcome for Christmas, with some nice goodies. It felt homely, and we hope to stay again.

There are several things that need a bit of TLC. Damp in the downstairs bathroom and kitchen had been mentioned by earlier guests in the maintenance log, and the kitchen tap leaks, which could be the source. The bathroom taps are siliconed on, and when it was windy, debris kept coming down the chimney. On arrival it was clean and the stay was okay, but fixing those things would make it super.
