This was our second stay at the Albaston, after our first visit before covid, and both times have been amazing. Kev and Julie are incredible hosts who make guests feel like friends, and nothing is too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean, with tea, coffee and water replenished each day. Julie cooked us a lovely breakfast to order every morning using good quality ingredients. The fully stocked bar seems to be open all the time. They've also opened a restaurant and bar by the harbour, Below Decks, where guests get 10% off. I'd definitely recommend both places for a great stay in Torquay, and we'll be back.

We stayed last year to visit family, and we're going back again now. The premises are spotless and breakfast is excellent. Kevin, the owner, is very welcoming. We enjoyed the gin bar, perhaps a bit too much! We'll use this as our base for future visits.

Breakfast was a real highlight, and the Valentino room had a spacious, spotless bathroom. We’d come to The Albaston for two nights and found the room clean and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches throughout. Julie and Kevin clearly put a lot into making guests feel well looked after. It was great value and had everything we needed to unwind, so we’ve already booked another stay. We’ve been to The Albaston three times now, and we’re already planning another visit later this year. Julie and Kevin are such lovely hosts and are always happy to help. The rooms are well equipped and finished to a high standard, and the complimentary breakfast is a great start to the day.

The location worked really well, with beaches and attractions nearby. The staff were friendly, breakfast was superb, and the B&B was spotlessly clean with lovely decor. We enjoyed everything about our stay and I couldn’t fault the place. Would definitely recommend it.
