Tor Dean Guest House

Ashleigh & Ken were great hosts and couldn’t do enough to help. The rooms were very good, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, and everyone was so friendly and easy-going. The location is perfect, with just a 10-minute walk along the seafront to town and the harbour. We brought our little dog, and they’re pet-friendly. They made such a fuss of our dog.

Ken, Isobel, and Ashley were so welcoming. We looked forward to Ashley’s cheerful manner in the mornings when she took our breakfast order. The breakfast was cooked to order and very enjoyable, with cereals, yoghurts, and fresh fruit available too. Tor Dean Guest House looked freshly decorated, and there was a beautiful garden where we could sit. We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at the tor dean and felt very welcome. Ken, Isabelle, and Ashley made us feel at home, and Ashley served the cooked breakfast with a smile every morning. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with cereals and juice as well. The guesthouse is on a quiet road not too far from the harbour. We’d recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you to Ken, Isabelle, and Ashley.

We were lucky to get a late booking at this lovely family-run guest house. Isabel and Ken were perfect, friendly hosts, and their daughter Ashley and her dog 'bear' made the stay memorable. I can fully recommend the place and will definitely book again. Tor Dean is in a quiet part of Torquay, but the town centre, beach, and marina are easy to reach on foot. Our room was tastefully decorated and clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. My wife and I were very glad we found it.
