We’d definitely come back. The room was lovely, with nice decor, a modern bathroom and a super comfortable bed. It also had tea and coffee, towels, a large TV, mini fridge, iron, hairdryer and fan. When we arrived, we were greeted by someone we believe was the owner, who gave us tokens for a complimentary drink at the bar. The location was perfect for the marina area and town.

The heated pool was the highlight for us. The owners were happy to warm it up both times we wanted a swim, and it was clean and a good size for a dip, especially to cool off in the evening. Jackie and Steve made our stay at the Yardley manor hotel lovely and comfortable. Our room was clean, cozy, funkily decorated and had everything we needed, plus an incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast was 10/10 and set us up for walking and exploring the harbour, just five minutes away. A perfect hotel for couples with a dog, and highly recommended if you want an affordable, dog-friendly place a short walk from Torquay harbour.

The pool was amazing in the heat, and luckily we had it to ourselves. We went as a couple for a short getaway during the recent may 2026 heatwave and it was perfect, with no problems at all. Nice view, nice owners, clean room, parking and a bed that was comfortable enough. We could come and go at night without any issues, and the harbour is a few minutes’ walk away. Breakfast was great at £12 per person per day. It is on a hill, so make sure you check the location before booking. I’d recommend it and would stay again. Good value for money in my opinion.

Good value for an excellent B&B, with a convenient location and onsite parking. The room was a good size and clean, and the large bed was comfortable enough. We skipped breakfast since I only eat a small one. The only letdown was the shower, which was a bit weak.

There was a great soundtrack in the Griffin bar below, along with a cracking pint of Guinness. The staff were friendly and breakfast was great. Would visit again.
