After three months traveling around Europe without reviewing anywhere, I had to say this has been my favourite stay. The host was so kind and made us feel completely welcome, with thoughtful touches all around. And the sweetest dog was the cherry on top. I'd stay forever if I could. We had a brilliant stop while hiking. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming, the hostess was lovely and helpful, and both dinner and breakfast were superb. The packed lunch was amazing too. Thank you!

It was so quiet, just what I needed, and I'll definitely stay again. Everything was very clean and tidy when I arrived, and Sam made me feel welcome. Branston kept popping by to check everything was okay and get a belly rub. He's a very cute dog. Fully recommend.

Sam and Branston the dog looked after me brilliantly during my lovely stay walking the Hadrian’s Wall Path. The breakfast was great, and the packed lunch was excellent too.

I stayed in Vallum Kiosk with my labrador Reba while hiking sections of Hadrians Wall. It's a cosy cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
