West Brae House was a handy base for day trips around Cornwall. Tamsin and her husband made us feel welcome right away, and she was always glad to help with excellent local tips on places to eat and see. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with a double king bed, television and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was fantastic, with homemade banana bread, granola and muesli, plus an impressive range of hot dishes. I can’t thank Tamsin enough for her friendly hospitality and would recommend West Brae House to anyone visiting Cornwall.

Whenever we visit the area, we stay here. Tamsin and Richard, and Jet too, are wonderful hosts. It feels like a home from home, and the breakfast is the best in Cornwall!

The breakfasts were honestly amazing, and we looked forward to them every day. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and full of helpful local knowledge. It felt like staying with family. Jet the dog and Tiggi the cat deserve a mention too, both so friendly. We were really glad we chose this B&B. The house, room and location were beautiful. We stayed in the smaller room, which was clean and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. Sharing a bathroom didn’t bother us, and the shower was awesome. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Cornwall and will certainly return. Thank you!

We travelled along the Cornish coast this summer, and stayed here as one of our stops. We’re so grateful for Tamsin’s hospitality. The room was very nice and the breakfast simply spectacular. We hope they remember us. Anna & Oskar (Basque Country)
