The Dorset Golf Hotel

Loddon Vale Indoor Bowling club had a fabulous four-night stay and has rebooked for next year because everyone wanted to return. The bowling was great and Richard and his team had everything well organised. Food was five-star, and so were the bar and evening entertainment. Booking was painless, and Natalie and Lucy looked after us so well before and during the stay. Thank you again.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food is reliably very good. I’ve been here several times for golf breaks with a group whose handicaps range from 9 to 28, and it’s consistently a brilliant experience. The three nine-hole layout gives us good variety, and even after heavy rain the course remains playable thanks to the excellent drainage on the greens. A great choice for groups wanting relaxed, high-quality golf.

We came as a group of eight for golf and Christmas dinner. The food was really good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The course was in fantastic shape, though a little wet in spots, which is understandable at that time of year. We’ll definitely come back when the weather’s warmer.

The house was so pretty and spacious, a lovely two-storey wooden place with more than enough extra beds for all of us. It felt peaceful, almost like being in a jungle, with pine trees all around and an amazing view. The Wi-Fi worked well, and we could watch our favourite shows on the TV just as easily as at home. We loved staying here and started recommending it to everyone we knew as soon as we got back.
