West Lulworth Apartment

The food was delicious and the menu had loads of choice. I’ve eaten here twice midweek in one week and loved the pub, the decor and the staff. I’d highly recommend it and will be back. I usually stay at Coastguard Cottages four times a year, but I’ll try the rooms here soon. 😋

We had such a lovely night, and the cove at Lulworth is just a short walk away. The staff were welcoming, kind, helpful and efficient, and our room was lovely, especially the comfortable bed and soft pillows. I usually bring my own, so that was a real plus. Dinner in the candlelit pub was delicious, and choosing from the imaginative menu was hard. We enjoyed every moment and hope to come back.

We had a perfect evening at The Castle Inn. The staff gave us a warm welcome and the service felt personal, with excellent food and live music in the outdoor seating area. Inside, the inn has a lovely cosy feel, and there’s plenty of outside space for a sunny evening. The menu has plenty of appealing choices for different tastes, along with a good selection of drinks, including Butcombe ales. It’s a historic thatched inn on the main road to Lulworth Cove, a great spot for a meal after exploring the coastline.

There were eight of us here for a friend’s birthday, and we’re already planning to return next year. The location is lovely, especially out of season when it’s quieter, and the rooms were lovely too. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast the next morning was just as good, cooked to order from a menu instead of sitting on a sad-looking buffet. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend it for a cosy, welcoming break in a gorgeous location.
