It’s a very quiet village location, with a nice pub next door, Cat & Lion, serving good value meals. The room, accessible No.7, was poor and below the usual Premier Inn standard. The bed was fine, but there were only two thin pillows, and none of the extra pillows I asked for were available. The young man at reception was very polite and apologetic. The bathroom was cold with no heating, and the television was tiny.

The Cat and Lion Pub next door served us a lovely English breakfast. The room was spacious and clean, and although the bathroom wasn’t very big, it was clean too. The receptionist offered extra tea, coffee, milk and towels if we needed them. We stayed last night for a visit to the nearby Harry Potter Experience. The location is excellent, near the M6 and Arley Hall. I’d recommend both the hotel and breakfast.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was quiet. My room was immaculate and the bed really comfortable. I paid £30 for one night in January, which felt like a bargain. I'd stay again.

The reception team were great, and I slept well in a perfect bed. But the place needs updating: there were water marks around the windows and on the walls, and I couldn't tell what some of the bathroom stains were. The toilet seat was broken and the bedside tables felt temporary. There was no breakfast, and the front car park was very tight. The Cat & Lion next door is good for lunch and dinner; it had just reopened in the week beginning 6 September.

The room was quiet and comfortable, and we both slept well. We got exactly what we needed. Even arriving at 2 am, we were greeted by Sarah, who was lovely, welcoming, friendly, and efficient.
