We had a wonderful stay at the Travelodge, thanks in large part to Trudy. Her welcome was warm and genuine from the moment we arrived. She’s so personable and lovely, and went out of her way to make our visit feel special. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out. Thank you for making the stay so memorable!

The accessible room was superb, with a wet room and shower seat, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is handy too: Marstons pub (Skylark) is just across the car park, with KFC and McDonalds across the road. This Travelodge is fabulous.

We’ve been coming here for over 6 years because it suits our needs so well. The welcome is always friendly, and the staff are genuinely helpful. The hotel is basic, but you get what you pay for. The local pub serves very good classic pub food at sensible prices, with options for all tastes. It’s a 15 min drive into the middle of taunton, 1hr to Minehead, and 90 min to Lynmouth and the north Devon coast too.

Trudy at reception made my stay so much better than I expected. She was polite, warm and genuinely caring from the moment I arrived, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. It’s rare to meet someone who cares so clearly about both the job and the people she’s helping. I was honestly amazed by her kindness and professionalism. Trudy is a real credit to the hotel.
