We had a lovely weekend on 10/11 October. Liz was such a warm host, and even dried my friend's soaked walking boots so they were ready to wear again the next day. The twin room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. It's a good base for Wells and for walks in the surrounding countryside. Highly recommend.

Our week here with friends, as part of the cathedral visiting choir, went really well. No. 23 suited us perfectly. Liz welcomed us kindly and took such good care of us, with delicious breakfasts and fresh milk whenever we needed it. I had a spacious, comfortable, spotless room at the front of the house. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean, and the shower had good pressure with a thermostatic control. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. We were greeted straight away and given directions and details about local events. The landlady was friendly and helpful the whole time, and made us feel that asking for anything wouldn't be a bother. The town centre is an easy walk away.

We had a warm, clean and pleasant room, plus a great breakfast. The host was friendly and good company. Wells centre is handy, about five minutes to Wetherspoons and a 15-minute walk into town. Highly recommended.
