The White Hart Hotel

We celebrated my wife’s 70th birthday with family and friends in the White Harts “courtroom” function room, and it was an excellent evening. Special thanks to Ellen and her staff for first-class service. The three-course meal was excellent too, with good-quality food served hot for all 21 guests. We stayed overnight in one of the nicely furnished rooms, then had a great traditional breakfast in the morning. I’d thoroughly recommend the White Hart.

We chose from the festive menu and were very happy with it. The White Hart consistently turns seasonal produce into inventive dishes, and our meal with friends was excellent. It’s a great space with a lovely atmosphere. I didn’t rate the rooms.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was freshly cooked for us and delicious. Staff were friendly and professional, and did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were also flexible about our leaving time, which we really appreciated. We had an excellent stay at the White Hart.

We had 41 guests for our wedding reception in the Old Court function room, and the White Hart team helped us plan the whole thing. From the first planning meeting through to the reception, it felt relaxed and went brilliantly. Ellen, James and the team took great care of us and our guests. The service was amazing, the food was out of this world, and they were happy to help with anything. The hotel room was amazing too, comfortable, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. We’d highly recommend The White Hart for a small wedding, celebration, large family meal or small corporate gathering. Five stars all round.
