Peter and Manetta are really welcoming, and the location is great: two minutes to the shops and pubs, five to the harbour, and about the same to West Cliff. We’ve stayed several times now, and it’s always a pleasure. The apartment is consistently spotless and tidy, with everything you need for a short visit. The bed and sofa are both very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Parking needs a bit of planning because the street is busy and you’ll need a permit. The two-bedroom apartment is spotlessly clean, with a newly refurbished kitchen and Sky TV. The location is perfect. Highly recommend.

The bed is unbelievably comfortable, and everything’s spotless, with nice decor and furniture that doesn’t feel cheap or tacky. I especially liked the reclining sofa. I did wonder whether either the bed or sofa might fit in my car, and whether anyone would notice! The kitchen’s been thought through down to the bottle opener and tin foil. It’s in a perfect spot for the beach and all the amenities. If I had to pick something, door wedges would be handy, though I know they’re fire doors. I’ll definitely stay again when we’re back in Whitby.

We had a lovely private room in a great location, and the owners were kind. Our room, apartment 4, didn’t have a cooker or oven, so we couldn’t prepare our own meals. Apart from that, it was really good.

Peter greeted us and made us feel at home. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, parking was easy, and all the facilities were easy to reach. It was good value, and we’ll definitely be back.
