The welcome at Rosslyn House felt like being part of the family, and Tim and Kirsten made sure we were looked after throughout. They even brought fresh milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, sweets, water and cake to our room when we arrived. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and beautifully cooked and presented. We felt thoroughly spoiled and would absolutely stay with them again. The best B&B we’ve used in Whitby, highly recommended.

Phil and Kirsten went out of their way to make my birthday extra special, and they were so welcoming, helpful and understanding. The place was spotless and had a lovely warm feel. We stayed for a couple of nights this past weekend, enjoyed a good breakfast and a great location, and can’t recommend it highly enough. Those five stars are very well deserved. Thanks so much for having us both.

The owners were really friendly, which made the weekend feel pleasant from the start. We felt very welcome, our room was clean and the attention to detail was much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious too. We’d stay here again.

Rosslyn House is only a two-minute walk from the beach or a gentle wander into town, and the accommodation is outstanding value for Whitby. We stayed over Christmas and Tim and Kirstin put so much care into making it special, including fresh milk in the room and little gifts on Christmas Day. The breakfast room was lovely and spotless, and the freshly cooked food was to a very high standard. We ticked off our choices the night before and got exactly what we’d ordered. The whole visit was wonderful from beginning to end. If you’re looking for a great Whitby guesthouse, you’ve found it.

We spent three nights at Rosslyn House over Christmas and had a fabulous time. The hosts were lovely and so accommodating, always happy to help. It’s within walking distance of everything, which made it easy to enjoy walks around Whitby. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.
