Avril suggested a local pub for dinner, just a five-minute walk away, and we tried it. Breakfast, which Avril provided, was excellent too. The Yellow House suited us perfectly, and the room was spacious, with a big TV and a clean, decent shower room. When we arrived in February, Avril had already turned on the heated blanket. The host was friendly and accommodating, and we slept peacefully and comfortably.

The room at yellow house was cosy, with a lovely view of the horses and sheep out back. Avril made breakfast to order for whatever time we wanted, and it was delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay, and Lottie the dog was a great host too!

Avril and her dog Lottie were so friendly that my wife and I felt right at home during our couple of nights at the Yellow House B&B. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. We also loved the peaceful location and the terraced garden views. The local pub is a short walk away and gave us a discount for staying at the B&B. A great place for a relaxing getaway, highly recommend!

The peaceful location and beautiful views made this a lovely place to stay while we were in May for a wedding at Woodhill Hall, Otterburn. The house felt warm and welcoming, and our Hadrian room was immaculate, spacious and had a lovely view. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. The en-suite was on the small side but perfectly fine, with a powerful shower and lovely hot water. Breakfast was a highlight. We chose what we wanted the evening before, and each morning had a delicious freshly cooked breakfast, one of the best we've had. There was also a great selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts, which we enjoyed while watching the horses in the neighbouring field. Avril was kind, attentive and went out of her way to make us comfortable. She even shared details about the flowers in her garden that we'd asked about earlier that day. Her dog was calm and happy to have a little fuss. No bother at all, and really lovely, even though I'm not a dog person. We'd happily recommend this accommodation.

Avril made us feel at home at the Yellow House B&B, beautifully set in the Northumberland countryside, and cooked us an amazing English breakfast. She's the nicest host! A friend of hers also came to our rescue when we had no car and drove us to the next bus station. We wouldn't have caught the bus otherwise, and we'd have lost my Airpods, which we'd left in the car. He kindly brought them over while the bus was still waiting to pick up other guests. You'll leave with a smile and a full stomach. 😊 10/10
