Holiday Inn Aberdeen West by IHG

I visit several times a year for work and have stayed here for the last few years. The rooms are comfortable, and both breakfast and evening meals are consistently excellent. There's plenty of parking, with lots of shops across the road, so the location is very convenient. The staff are what make the hotel for me. From reception to the restaurant team, everyone is friendly, helpful and welcoming every time. I always enjoy my stays and would happily recommend it.

We stayed several days to visit places around Aberdeen. The rooms were spotless and the location was excellent. The food was very good too, and there's a play area for children. The service was lovely, especially from Nayana, who was so kind and helpful. Definitely recommended.

I requested different dates for my Booking.com reservation, but the property kept saying it wasn't up to them to approve the change. Booking.com said the decision belonged to the property, and the issue dragged on with neither side taking responsibility. My cancellation request was ignored during all this, and the communication was unhelpful and inconsistent. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this property because of the poor customer service and lack of accountability.

The staff were very welcoming, and it was a very good visit. I had breakfast at the Holiday Inn Westhill this morning, with plenty to choose from, including healthy options alongside bacon, eggs and black pudding. Everything was hot and cooked to perfection. It was a help-yourself buffet, so you could take as much as you wanted. I'll come again.
