The beach is only a few minutes away on foot, and after a day of shopping I loved unwinding with a swim, a sauna and a good meal. The pool was clean, the food was freshly cooked and beautifully presented, and the staff were so helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The rooms were clean, and each one seems to have its own decor. I love this little hotel. I'm almost reluctant to leave such a glowing review in case it makes it harder to book next time!

The set meal cost £44. The food was good, but I didn't think it was worth that price; the wine was reasonably priced. Booking direct came with a £20 meal voucher per booking, not per person, and nobody reminded us at checkout. I've stayed twice, both times in November, so it's hard to judge the location as that isn't the best time of year. The bedrooms and public areas have a lovely, homely feel with some interesting design details, though the bedrooms are showing wear. My shower door, for example, wouldn't close fully. The staff were friendly, but they didn't notice or deal with problems unless asked. For our birthday party there weren't enough seats, and they only addressed it after we pointed it out. They also didn't bring children's menus, even though there were clearly children in the party.

Our courtyard room was No 21, called pebble. It was lovely and warm, with beachy New England-style decor, and the large modern bathroom had both a rainfall shower and a handheld one. The complimentary toiletries and soft bath sheets were nice touches. There were plenty of sockets, plus a hairdryer and fan. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, though. Breakfast had a huge choice, and the pastries and full English were delicious. The staff were nice too. We'll definitely stay again, highly recommended.

The staff made Mum's 80th birthday meal a really memorable occasion. They were attentive, polite and lovely to deal with, and nothing was too much trouble. Two members of our party stayed at the hotel for two nights and said their room was lovely and the staff were helpful and polite throughout the weekend. We had 13 people around one large table in our own private area, with plenty of space. The room can apparently fit more people and the seating can be arranged to suit. After dinner, those who stayed gathered in a comfortable room for drinks and a catch-up with old friends and family. The main restaurant was also lovely when four of us visited in June 2025 to check out the venue. We booked The Library that same evening for the surprise party. In the months beforehand, the hotel staff kept in touch and worked through the arrangements, including making sure our picky niece and nephew would have something they liked on the menu. There was a range of dishes across the table. We had leek and potato soup, smoked salmon, chicken and chorizo salad and melon balls to start. Main courses included roast chicken, pork, lamb and beef, with fresh vegetables and roast potatoes. For dessert we had pavlova, bread and butter pudding, different ice cream flavours, cheese and biscuits, and profiteroles. Everyone was happy with the portions, taste and temperature. We finished with tea and coffee, and plenty of us were full. Back in June, four of us had come for an evening meal and to look around Beachlands Hotel after a friend recommended it from among several Weston venues. I would have reviewed it then, but knew I could only submit one review, so waited. For a family meal, this was a great place for us. Thanks to all the staff at Beachlands Hotel.

The food wasn't that great, but the stay itself was amazing. Our room was cosy and lovely, and the location was brilliant. The staff were friendly and the manager was lovely too. You definitely get what you pay for.
